Look, I could tell you I chose blue because it signifies harmony, wisdom, and relaxation - but the truth is, I just like blue. Like, a lot. I also like tigers. So when I saw this guy, beautifully photographed by Holly Youngblood Cannon (used with permission), I wanted to pair him with one of my favorite colors to give him a whole new charm all his own. The first piece of art on which I ever came even close to achieving my version of realism, this guy holds a special place in my heart.
